Samantha Snyder

Present in both Artworks locations, Samantha is a cut paper collage artist who creates whimsical framed landscape art from colorful papers, multi layered 3-dimensional landscapes with a whimsical yet architectural feel.

Samantha resides in Hartselle Alabama and uses her Masters in Fine Art in studio art from Brigham Young University to teach art classes at the University of Alabama Huntsville.

 

Regarding her work in Artworks Seville Samantha tells us "For this work particularly, I liken it to a modern architectural design style, with some influence of Bauhaus design. But I take my work in a more whimsical, relaxed direction. I like clean lines and color and how they come together to create a landscape."

 

Samantha's love of travel is present in her work as she depicts landscapes from the exotic locations of islands, beaches, deserts and the more familiar lighthouse. "Having lived in a lot of different places, I enjoy finding what's special to each place."
