Carol Ogden
A self-taught French-born artist, Ogden discovered her love for art as a child through the creative influence of her grandmother, a painter who nurtured her early imagination. Carole describes herself as "Deeply connected to my European roots and inspired by a lifelong passion for travel" Ogden draws from the rich textures, colors, and cultures of her experiences to shape her artistic vision. Viewing her watercolors transports one to the small streets of the vibrant French cities you may have visited or seen in movies.
Carole works in multiple mediums but, primarily in watercolors and also enjoys working in oils as well. In her studio, she transforms her canvases into visual stories that celebrate the beauty of life, inviting viewers to look closer—beyond the surface—and discover the wonder that exists in the world around them.
Now based in Pensacola, where she and her husband have settled here to be near their grandchildren, Ogden continues to teach French and Spanish at Navarre High School.
